About

I am a study manager with 9 years experience in coordinating research collaborations, research and intervention design, prototyping and implementation, frontline management of data collection teams, data analysis and report writing.

Most of my recent research has been in preventing violence against women and children, and sometimes developing and testing response interventions. I'm currently a Study Coordinator at Raising Voices, a Ugandan non-profit organization where I manage a collaborative longitudinal study evaluated by the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) together with Uganda Virus Research Institute (UVRI)/ Medical Research Council (MRC) research unit. This is aimed at understanding the impact of childhood violence on adolescents and young adults.

Before this, I was an Associate Field Manager at Innovations for Poverty Action where I oversaw an RCT evaluating an intervention intended to reduce IPV among married couples in Western Uganda. Over the years, I have also worked as a research consultant with DSW/Action For Health Uganda, World Vision Uganda, Zoctu and others.

I am both a quantitative and qualitative researcher, and my key specialties are gender-based violence, women empowerment, child health, sexual health, and mental health.
